Jiaming Chen (Universität Frankfurt): Convex Fujita numbers

Abstract: I will discuss joint work with Alex Küronya, Yusuf Mustopa, and Jakob Stix on the effective global generation of adjoint line bundles on smooth projective varieties. To measure effectiveness, we introduce the concept of the convex Fujita number of a smooth projective variety. I will present several examples and explore its relation to fundamental groups.
