We consider the modular curves associated to a Cartan subgroup of GL(2,Z/nZ) or to a particular class of subgroups of GL(2,Z/nZ) containing the Cartan subgroup as a normal subgroup. We describe the automorphism group of these curves when the level is large enough. If time permits, we give a sketch of the proof.
