Qualified candidates will have a strong research record and the promise of continuing a high level of research activity.

For doctoral student positions we are seeking highly qualified candidates holding an MSc. or equivalent degree with a background suitable for one of the projects.

The CRC GAUS provides an excellent infrastructure for training and research in an internationally visible and active network, together with mentoring programs and funding for summer schools and conference visits. We offer support for international students and postdocs. The positions will be based at the universities of the project leader(s) of the relevant projects. Many of the projects are based at more than one university.

We are an equal opportunity employer; all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment. We encourage potential candidates from underrepresented and/or historically excluded groups to apply. We are committed to increase the proportion of women in research. Qualified female applicants are therefore particularly encouraged to apply. Among candidates of equal aptitude and qualifications, a person with disabilities will be given preference.

Payment is based on the German TVL-13 scale if terms and conditions under collective bargaining laws are fulfilled.
